Born in ElBeheira in 1972, Waleed Kanoush graduated from The Faculty of Fina Arts in Alexandria in 1994 and went on to pursue a prolific career in the philosophy of painting in 2002. Waleed Kanoush received an MFA degree for his thesis "The Political and Social Variables and Their Impact on Contemporary Egyptian Painting". His work has been exhibited in local and international galleries, including Alexandria, Cairo, Paris, India and more. He was a Jury member of the Youth Salon and a member of the Higher Organizing Committee for The Golden Jubilee Celebration of the College of Fine Arts in Alexandria. Kanoush has a lot of artistic work related to architecture and interior design in a large number of institutions and private enterprises in Egypt and the Arab world and he also participated in the teamwork of restoration of the presidential palaces artworks from 1997 to 2002.
