Alexandrian born artist Amre Heiba studied science and graphic design, after which he decided to pursue a career in art. Since 1979, he has held over 17 solo exhibitions around Egypt. He is a member of L'Atelier, the Syndicate of Visual Artists, and Fikrun wa Fann Gallery at the Goethe Institute in Alexandria.
